"Cold takeout and felt like nobody really cared"
My takeout showed up late again, and by the time it got here the food was already cold. The fries were soggy and disappointing. I tried to be patient, but the whole experience made me feel like just another ticket number instead of an actual customer.

"Fun spot, we just picked a busy time"
Went here with a few friends and overall it had a really good, lively vibe. It was packed when we got there, so I think we may have just come at a slightly hectic time. The music was a little loud, but nothing that ruined the night. Definitely a nice place if you’re looking for something casual and upbeat.

"Okay food, super slow"
Food was fine. Service was really slow though. Drinks took forever, and the food was like 40 minutes. Server was nice, but barely came by. It wasn’t even busy. Kinda ruined it...

"Could’ve Been Way Cleaner"
I went there last weekend the place just didn’t feel clean. Our table was sticky, there were food bits on the floor, and the washroom looked like no one had checked it in hours?! It kind of put me off and ruined the meal a bit. I’m definitely not in a hurry to go back

"Usually solid, but not perfect"
I’ve used jackastors.com a handful of times now for checking the menu and making bookings, and it’s been dependable. The menu is simple enough to look through, and most of the details match what I end up seeing at the restaurant. One time the site loaded annoyingly slow, which was kind of frustrating, but then again it wasn’t a huge deal and I still got what I needed. Overall, it’s fine, actually good, and I’d keep using it.

"Portions were actually way too small"
I ordered from Jack Astor's and, the portions were actually tiny for the price. The fries looked more like a kid-sized side, and my main was gone after just a few bites. The food tasted okay, but I was still hungry after eating, which was disappointing. For what I paid, it really didn’t feel worth it.

"Surprisingly better than most places around here"
I was impressed. The food was really tasty and showed up hot and fresh, which doesn’t always happen with other spots I’ve ordered from. Compared to a lot of similar places nearby, this one definitely felt like a step up

"Pretty solid variety, honestly"
I liked that the menu had a lot to choose from. There were burgers, pasta, bowls, drinks, basically a little something for everyone. I did take forever deciding, though maybe that’s just me being indecisive. Still, not exactly a bad problem to have

"Food was okay, but the wait was ridiculous"
The food itself was fine, nothing amazing but not bad. What really got me was waiting almost an hour for it. I reached out to support and it felt like they were just copy-pasting the same generic response instead of actually helping, which made the whole thing even more frustrating.

"The food was okay overall, but..."
The food was okay overall, but the staff came across kind of rude. I feel like most customers would have a much better experience if the service felt a little warmer and more welcoming.

"Good value overall"
I ordered from Jack Astor's and thought it was good for the price. The portions were solid and the food tasted fresh, so it felt worth it to me. It’s not exactly the cheapest option, but I didn’t feel like I overpaid either. Delivery took a little longer than I would’ve liked, so I’d give it 4 stars

"My reservation turned into a whole ordeal"
I made a reservation and it did go through, but when we got there, the table wasn’t ready and the staff seemed totally confused. It felt way more chaotic than it needed to be, and I was standing there like, how is this happening? Not the end of the world, but definitely frustrating.

"Drinks felt disappointing"
I stopped in and ordered a couple drinks, but they didn’t really hit the mark. I was already feeling a little rushed, so maybe that made it more noticeable, but one drink tasted watered down and the other was way too sweet, like it was mostly mixer.
The service was fine and I didn’t have any real issue with the staff. I just expected better for the price, especially for cocktails, so I probably wouldn’t order drinks here again.
